Face Masks For Glowing Skin
Spending so much time at home these days, I've definitely increased the frequency of my trips to the refrigerator, checking "New Releases" on Netflix, and how many evenings a week I apply my favorite face masks for glowing skin. Let me tell you, I've tried a fair number of face masks over the years, but currently have a few in my repertoire that I swear by, and want to share with you guys in case you're on the hunt for a new one to try during your own at-home spa days!
SUMMER FRIDAYS Jet Lag mask
This mask from vegan and cruelty-free brand, SUMMER FRIDAYS, first went viral at the beginning of 2018, and both Tieneke and I couldn't wait to get our hands on a tube; with thousands of rave reviews and promises of unparalleled hydration, a healthy dewy complexion, and skin radiance, can you blame us for being quite eager to try it? This versatile mask can be used as an overnight treatment that leaves your skin super hydrated and glowing in the morning, or you can just wipe off excess product and be on your merry way (no need to rinse!). The mask doesn't dry out and is more like a thick moisturizer, and I love using it when my skin is feeling a tad too dry for my taste.

VERSED Brightening Tightening mask
The brand VERSED only recently appeared on my radar when I was browsing Cult Beauty for a remedy for my tired-looking skin. (Too many nights staying up late binge watching The Handmaid's Tale!). I was delighted to learn that they are also a vegan, cruelty-free and clean skincare brand, and that their prices are VERY reasonable. I decided to try their Brigthening Tightening mask, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have been completely blown away by this product! First of all, it smells gorgeous and applies so easily. The mask dries out a little bit after application (but not enough to stop you from being able to talk or smile), and after keeping it on for about 15 minutes, it rinses off easily and leaves the skin looking bright AF! Seriously, I'm impressed and can't wait to try their other masks (and basically their entire line of skincare), too!

DRUNK ELEPHANT T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial
By now you guys should be familiar with our love affair with the brand, DRUNK ELEPHANT, and I'm especially obsessed with their breakthrough star product, T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial. This lightweight mask is basically a facial in a bottle, with "AHA/BHA that resurfaces skin to reveal greater clarity, improved skin texture and tone, and a more youthful appearance". It gently exfoliates your skin (you'll feel a bit of a tingle), and after just 10 minutes you are left with clean, fresh and smooth skin. I use it once a week and can always see a huge difference in the texture of my skin!

FRESH Umbrian Clay Purifying mask
FRESH's Umbrain Clay Purifying mask has quite the reputation of being THE mask to calm down redness, deep-cleanse your pores, and shrink your blemishes. That sounds good to me, so I thought I'd give it a try, and.... I'm on my fourth tube already! Yes, that's how much I love this stuff! The formula of the mask is that quintessential greenish-gray clay mask you see in movies, and it dries very quickly and freezes your face (seriously, no human emotion can be detected!). I love it, because after rinsing it off, my skin feels super duper clean and my complexion looks so even. I use this mask once a week without fail!

SUMMER FRIDAYS R+R mask
I haven't tried this mask, but Tieneke (and apparently every other skincare junkie) swears by it! After reading rave review after rave review, and obviously being a huge fan of their Jet Lag mask, my fingers have been itching to go online and order it for myself. Apparently this rose-scented "spa-worthy mask" leaves you with soft, hydrated and bright skin, and some users even declare it as their Holy Grail face mask for a refreshed, replenished and glowing complexion. Uhm yeah, sign me up for that!
