Hello, December! Hello, Winter... uh, not really... Taiwan hasn't gotten the memo yet, and I'm still in short sleeves on most days. Although colder weather is yet to arrive and wreak its usual havoc on my skin, I've already been taking extra care to make sure it stays exfoliated, hydrated and soft. (Prevention is better than cure, as they say!). This past month I've been using a few bath and body products to ensure my skin stays healthy and moisturized as the seasons change. Find out below which products I've been loving in November!
HERBIVORE BOTANICALS Coco Rose Body Polish
I've always been a big believer in body scrubs to keep my skin exfoliated and smooth, and make sure to use one at least once or twice a week. This past month I've been loving HERBIVORE BOTANICALS' popular body polish. I'm not usually a big fan of rose scented products, but I thought I'd give this one a whirl anyway because of the combination with coconut; it really is lovely! The body polish is not harsh at all, and the coconut oil leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and glowing.

DR. BARBARA STURM Body Brush
Up until recently, I had never used a body brush before. I bought this one by DR. BARBARA STURM on a whim and have been using it once a week. This natural bristles brush can be used for dry brushing (which takes getting used to!) or while in the shower. Dry brushing has so many benefits; it removes dead skin, it reduces ingrown hairs, and it helps in detoxifying the body. It can also treat the appearance of cellulite by increasing blood circulation and lymph flow in the tissue. Yes, please!

AGENT NATEUR Holi (Stick) No.3 Deodorant
It's well-known that most deodorants and antiperspirants have a ton of crap in it, and by using it we are directly introducing toxins like aluminum and parabens into our bodies. I've been searching high and low for an all natural deodorant that WORKS! It's not that easy though; all of the natural deodorants I've tried before this one just didn't cut it. This past month I was blown away by this deodorant from AGENT NATEUR. Guys, this one works! I am very active throughout the day, and even after exercising I can't detect any bad odors. It also doesn't leave any residue on my clothing, and actually really hydrates the skin. WIN! I highly recommend it if you've also been searching for an all natural deodorant.

HERBIVORE BOTANICALS Coco Rose Lip Polish
While I was shopping for the Coco Rose body polish, I decided to throw in the lip polish for good measure. You might think that you don't need a lip polish or lip scrub, but actually, in the cooler months you definitely do! I know that my lips usually feel drier and in need of some TLC this time of the year, and I've been using this lip polish about twice a week. It's SO nice! I've used many lip scrubs before, but this one is more gentle (yet, very effective in removing dead skin!) and leaves my lips feeling very hydrated and soft.

L'OCCITANE Almond Milk Concentrate
I'll admit it, this lotion might be a tad self-indulgent, but it's become my annual tradition to purchase it in November to use during the winter months. The smell is incredible, and it leaves my skin so soft and moisturized; it's absolutely perfect for the winter months! I use it sparingly and try to make it last for at least a couple of months, but sometimes I can't help but douse myself in it after taking a shower. Just give it a whiff next time you pass a L'OCCITANE store, you will understand why it's so hard to resist.

BLISTEX DCT Lip Conditioning Treatment
I'm a self-confessed lip balm addict, and BLISTEX's DCT is my drug of choice. It has always been my go-to lip balm, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm like a true junkie when I notice I'm about to run out; cold sweats, shaky hands.. yeah, I get a little panicky. Nothing hydrates my lips like this treatment and I can't live without it, especially when it's colder out and the air is drier. I love that it also contains SPF20, and that I only have to apply it a few times a day (as opposed to most other lip balms, which I feel like I have to re-apply ten times an hour!). I just took a quick break to apply some of this magic potion to my lips... ahhhh, heaven.

LE LABO Ambrette 9 Eau de Parfum
For the past few months I've been trying to use up a few of my perfumes (to make some space for new ones, of course!), and I'm currently using LE LABO's Ambrette 9; this light fragrance is fresh and clean, with a combination of citrus and flower tones. This is my most understated perfume, and I really enjoy it for everyday use, as it's not overpowering and gives just a hint of fragrance.

I'm curious; what are your go-to bath and body products during the winter months?
I'm also looking to try a new shower gel, and I would love your recommendations.
